The Redlands2030 Facebook page today comments “The Bulletin says Walker Group will appeal the Information Commissioner’s decision that Redland City Council should release most of the 589 page Toondah development agreement to Redlands2030. This could delay for some time the community gaining access to important information about the Council’s deal allowing Walker Group to build 3,600 apartments on public land and Ramsar protected wetlands. It’s quite likely that Walker Group will fail to get Federal Government approval for this environmentally harmful project but the process could take years to be resolved. The quick way for this foolishly conceived project to be stopped is for the State Labor Government to decisively pull the plug”.
